The striking design of the new 2022 4Runner TRD Sport
The 2022 Toyota 4Runner's muscular silhouette is even more stylish in its TRD Sport version!
This Toyota SUV is equipped with 20-inch wheels, LED high and low beams, LED fog lights, and TRD Sport accents and trims. These include matching rocker panels, moldings and grille, as well as a TRD air intake on the hood.
The 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport is even better under the hood!
The TRD Sport version is powered by the same engine as the rest of the 4Runner line-up: it’s the powerful 4.0 L V6 engine with 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed ECT-i automatic transmission with manual mode.
However, the big changes lie in the new suspension: the 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport features the exclusive Cross-Linked Relative Absorber System (X-REAS) for improved handling.
Among its many new features, we find a part-time 4WD system with a 2-speed transfer case, 244 mm of ground clearance and a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.
2022 4Runner : its interior
The interior of the 2022 Toyota 4Runner is very spacious. It allows you to carry between 1,337 and 2,450 litres of cargo depending on whether the rear seats are folded down or not.
You'll also enjoy heated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration and many other features.
Last but not least, the TRD Sport version features black SofTex seats with exclusive grey contrast stitching, grey stitched TRD badging in the front headrests, TRD Sport floor mats, and a TRD gear shifter. Even better, all of these come standard!
